and include your story. Please include a picture of your child their story. You MUST send a picture to be featured. Also, for your child's story, please write more than their diagnosis. Tell us your child's age, their likes or dislikes, their abilities, and also their diagnosis. We like to read about people, about wonderfully special kids, not just a diagnosis. I get many stories that simply give a name and a diagnosis. We like for the featured story to be a bit more detailed. Parents new to the world of special needs are often searching for more than a diagnosis. They need to hear that it's not the end of the world and our kids are WONDERFUL! (Parents- feel free to send me an update on your child if they have been featured in the past!)
